This notice is also delivered pursuant to (Code on the Protection of Personal Data). THE "DATA CONTROLLER"
pursuant to article 28 of the Code on the Protection of Personal Data, is Canali S.P.A. Unipersonale (“CANALI”) in the person of its pro-tempore legal representative.
TYPES OF DATA WE COLLECT AND PROCESS
We collect data from you directly, as well as from your use of the website and online services. Below we describe, generally, the types of data we collect from you.
Personal and Identification Data.
We collect personal data from customers and users of our website when you register, submit a question or inquiry to us, contact us, and for related purposes.

What are cookies?
The data controller Canali S.P.A., Unipersonale Via Lombardia, 17/19 – Sovico (MI) ITALY uses a number of “first party” cookies - generated and used by the website – and also “third party” cookies – generated on our website by third parties.

PROCESSING PURPOSES FOR WHICH CONSENT IS GIVEN IF REQUIRED (ART. 23 of Legislative Decree 196/03 )
The personal data voluntarily supplied by you through data collection forms filled in and/or e-mails sent by you will be processed for the following purposes:
A) Processing of data concerning:
- any contact requests, with dispatch of information requested by you;
- any appointment made on the point of sale;
- any newsletter subscription;
- surfing of this website;
- administrative-accounting activities in general;
- the supply of goods and services requested by you.
B) with prior consent and unless objected to, we may process your data under the following circumstances:

- profiling activities, i.e. to create your profile and analyse your habits and consumption choices, in order to improve the commercial offer and the services proposed, this may also include entering the data into the corporate CRM of CANALI.
MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS AND REPORTS
CANALI uses systems for sending newsletters and marketing communications with report.
Thanks to such reports CANALI may know, for example: the number of readers, the openings, the sole "clickers" and clicks; the devices (IPhone, Blackberry, Nokia ...) and the operating systems (Windows, Apple, Linux, Android ...) used for reading the communication; details related to the activities of individual users; number of pending users who have not yet confirmed the subscription, details of emails sent listed by date / hour / minute; details about email delivered and not, those forwarded; list of newsletter unsubscribed users, who has opened the email or clicked on a single link; users with problems related to the message opening/viewing, link tracking (ie the number of clicks on the link contained on the message) and click tracking (which links were clicked and by whom). Such reports are used to compare, and possibly improve, the results of marketing communications.
REPRESENTATIONS IN LEGAL PROCEEDINGS
Data could be used to ascertain liabilities in case of computer crimes to the detriment of the website.
PROCESSING AND STORAGE METHODS
Processing will be performed in an automatic and/or manual way, with methods and tools aimed at guaranteeing utmost security and confidentiality, by parties specifically in charge of this in compliance with what is provided for by articles 31 et seq. of Legislative Decree 196/03. Data will be stored per a period of time not longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which such data was collected and then processed.
SCOPE OF COMMUNICATION AND DISSEMINATION
The processed data will not be disseminated, but on the contrary may be communicated, for the purposes listed above, to companies related to and/or controlled by CANALI – belonging to the group, too -, to companies contractually linked to CANALI or belonging to its distribution network, possibly even with office in countries not belonging to the European Union, and in this case data will be processed by them exclusively for the aforementioned purposes. Data may be communicated to third parties belonging to the following categories:
- parties providing services for the management of the information system used by CANALI and of telecommunication networks (including electronic mail);
- relevant authorities in order to meet obligations laid down by laws and/or provisions of public institutions, upon request.
- parties performing the function of Data Processor, Person in Charge of the Processing or Data Controller even abroad. These parties can either belong to the company, such as its personnel or collaborators, or belong to other related companies, licensees or other bodies and external companies in the industry, consultants, lawyers, and public institutions, for the above-mentioned purposes only.
The parties belonging to the aforementioned categories either perform the function of Data Processor, or operate in complete autonomy as separate Data Controllers. Any further communication or dissemination will only take place with your prior explicit consent.
NATURE OF PROVISION AND REFUSAL
Apart from what is specified for navigation data, the user is free to supply personal data. The provision of data for the purposes referred to under point a) is optional, but necessary to be able to conclude and perform the contract with CANALI. The provision of data and the consent to processing for the purposes mentioned under points b) and c) is optional. The possible refusal to give the consent for the purposes illustrated under points b) and c) above, does not imply any negative consequence as concerns your requests and the execution of the relevant service. Profiling and marketing activities are not always carried out, and in all cases they will only be performed with the specific consent of the person concerned, if he/she decides to enter his/her personal data into the CRM. Entering data into the CRM is optional, and after that data will automatically become visible for anybody having access to the CRM, i.e. the entire personnel of CANALI, in its points of sale worldwide, and data processors.
RIGHTS OF THE PERSONS CONCERNED
You may assert your rights as set out in art. 7, 8, 9 and 10 of Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30th June 2003, applying either to the Data Controller, or to the data processor, by sending an e-mail to address email@example.com You have the right, at any time, to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you has been provided, and to get to know its contents and origin, to check for its accuracy or ask for it to be complemented, updated, or corrected (article 7 of the Code on the Protection of Personal Data). Pursuant to the above mentioned article, you have the right to request the erasure, transformation in anonymous form or the blocking of data processing in breach of the law, as well as to oppose the processing thereof for legitimate reasons. If you contact the Data Controller, please indicate your e-mail address, name, postal address and/or telephone numbers, in order to allow the correct management of your request.
If you have given your consent to processing, in order to stop receiving automated direct marketing communications (e-mail, SMS, MMS, fax), you only need to write at any time an e-mail to address firstname.lastname@example.org with “cancellation from automated system” in the subject line, or to use our automatic cancellation systems for e-mails only, and you will no longer be disturbed.

The Data Controller reserves the right to change, update, add or remove parts of this privacy notice at its own discretion and at any moment.
