The guests of the Punto Ronda day centre feature some typical characteristics of the living conditions of homeless people (relational and material poverty, loss of trust and dignity, breakdown of significant relationships). At the same time, they are people who possess numerous residual skills and resources that are difficult for them to show, rediscover and apply. These skills are the same that, if listened to, implemented and developed, are essential to succeed in every working environment. Ronda strongly believes in everyone's right to self-determination and to undertake a path of social and work reintegration. This is precisely the reason why it believes it is essential to offer the day centre’s guests a place not only where they can refresh and recharge themselves from a physical and relational point of view, but also where they have the opportunity to see their skills recognised and to rediscover and learn new ones.
Ronda firmly believes that it is important to offer its guests the opportunity to get back into the game from a professional and business point of view. It is precisely for this reason that it has decided to set up a workshop, held by a specialised professional, which aims to provide guests with the necessary tools to structure and organise an effective professional project and a targeted action plan. Starting from a process of self-evaluation of experiences and specialised skills, through which they can realistically set their professional goal, they are provided with concrete tools to help them achieve their goal, through an active and effective job search. The workshop will be divided into two parallel and complementary parts, with a group experience and an individual pathway. The former aims to provide theoretical training accompanied by exercises and simulations. The latter is capable of analysing more in depth the personal and professional history of the individual person, identifying in a targeted way technical knowledge and cross-cutting skills, accompanying him/her in drafting a professional and/or training project and building a targeted action plan for each to implement it.
